To all Local 371 Members employed by Shaw's Supermarkets

Dear Brothers and Sisters-

Negotiations between Shaw's and Local 371 ended tonight, Friday, March 7, 2008 at 6:00 PM.

Both sides are still far apart on a number of very important issues. Local 371 and the Company have agreed to have a Federal Mediator sit in on the negotiations in hopes that an agreement can be reached before
the contract expires at midnight on Saturday, March 8, 2008.

If a tentative agreement is not reached by 10:00 AM on Sunday, March 9, 2008, a strike vote will be taken.

At this crucial time it is important that you support your Union Leadership, so we can obtain a new contract agreement we can all be proud of.
