SICK PAY BILL
Dear UFCW Activist,
Last night the Connecticut Senate voted in favor of a Sick Pay Bill which would provide six and one-half (6 ½) days of sick pay for all workers in Connecticut to use each year.
This historic legislation is the first of its kind in the United States but, we need to do more.
We need to call Speaker of the House, James A. Amann and demand that he allow the House of Representatives vote on this legislation to provide sick pay for Connecticut workers.
Please call Speaker Jim Amann at 203-240-8500 or 1-800-842-1902 and urge him to have the House vote in favor of this legislation.
Fraternally,
Brian A. Petronella
